Yeah, you're right, I hadn't thought of that for some reason. I imagined needing to make something similar to one of the two sold by Accurate. They weld the pipe to the flange. It's been a long time since I've fought this sort of battle.
I would need both I think. Now that my eyes have been opened by Daves69 I think I'll be able to rig something up that's good enough to get me to a muffler shop to get the headers tied into the existing exhaust.
