Oversized oil pan?

This is where I heard it. I have a lot of respect for UTG as he is very knowledgeable. He starts talking about crank scrapers at time stamp 10:12

Most of the drag racing slant six guys over at .org run crank scrapers.
One of the racers makes slant six scrapers and has them for sale.
It seems like if there was any kind of link between crank scrapers and cam failures these guys would see that. They run big lobe lifts, large duration cams, lots of spring pressure, high rpm, for a slant. I did not watch the video as I am not a fan of ‘What’s he smoking Tony’, but this sounds like more of his malarkey. Where is the evidence and proof?
In a slant the cam lobes get plenty of oil from: the oil that feeds the cam bearings, the oil that squeezes by the lifters, the oil from the rocker shaft that runs through the drain holes in the lifter chamber.
