Interesting...I live near Firebird in Idaho and it is hot out here. I looked at their calendar and all the summer races are in the evening. I never gave it much thought since I don't race.
just watch any NHRA event and listen to them go on about track temperature. Your evening runs are always faster as they can bring the clutches in earlier.
