This has a Super Bee II engine which I think is a 318. Nonetheless it would be a damn cool boat to have.

I also wish I had an extra 13 Grand..............................I'd have more fun than you can imagine!!!!!!!:poke::rofl::rofl::rofl:

What is that watercooling (?) outside of the heads for?
are those radiators right next to the exhaust manifolds, or is it some sort of water exchange system to use the lake to cool the engine?

"Wet" exhaust manifolds

Around here there called heat exchangers IIRC. (I’m not a boat guy!) they suck up water and cool the engine in an ever flowing route and endless source, the body of water your in.

Forgive me as im not a boat person.....I get the wet exhaust, seen that but what cools the engine?
Lake water or clean water which is then cooled with lake water from heat exchanger?

Lake water is pulled through the outdrive via a water pump (sea pump).
a factory water pump circulates the water through the system.

Thats what I suspected. So what would the condition of the water jackets be in a cast iron block be in after years and years of use?
I always thought salt water boats took a beating

They run it through the exhaust to get it up to temp so it doesn't thermally shock or overcool the engine.
Not sure about that setup but the See Doos actually leak coolant water into the exhaust to cool it. Also helps keep from cooking the engine cavity on the boat.

I still think it'd be tits to mount that engine up in a Newport or something, just cuz it looks super huge.

And a set of those Super Bee II stickas would be cool on a Mexican A-body Super Bee.

It might be overpriced, but you have to remember $13,000 CAD is like $37.95 USD! Since it is one owner, and stored indoors, that explains the condition. Considering we have 9/12ths of the year as non boating conditions up here, it was stored indoors most of it's life. I will bet if there is an hour meter, it reads very low for a 1975 boat in comparison to anything in say a Southern State where the weather is boatable most of the year. I like it a lot. There are a few Chrysler boats I would like to have. This is right up near the top of the list.

You mean you don't have a spare 13 grand laying around?
Could have fooled me George...

I could trade off a few projects to come up with the loot! But that would be like quitting ******!

I would love to have a 340 Jet like the one in that link. That is an awesome boat......and it was found in a field with weeds growing through the bottom.

Steve Dulcich, (roadkill garage, engine masters) has a Chrysler jet boat. He built a nice 318 for it and they blasted it around on an episode of roadkill garage on motortrend. He calls it the mopar muscle boat.
