I keep hearing about a group of classic car collectors referred to as "the brothers". Is this group a well kept secret or is there public information available about who they are and what they collect?

I have heard of the Ring Brothers, they build some wicked high $$ customs, and I have also heard of the Brothers Collection, which from what I know is a large collection of American muscle cars. I think it's all makes, but I am not positive about that. I do know that the collection has a lot of rare Ford muscle.

The Ring Brothers maybe??
No, I live about 45 minutes away from the Ring Brothers' shop in Spring Green. "The Brothers" are spending major money on select, high end, investor grade vehicles. I am interested in finding out who they are and what their end game might be.

You have to be invited to see the collection, my buddy got to see it. Pretty amazing but don't know why it has to be so secret lol, just charge admission and make a fortune!.

They already have a fortune. I bet a lot more then any admission fee would net them.

Yeah but that wasn't really my point lol.

I understand. It's just these guys have stupid money. So it's easy to poke a little fun at them.

And to some of your point... I remember seeing some of these cars in local shows and collections. These cars at one time were spread all over North America. And gave others opportunity to enjoy them too and they promote the hobby. Now in one place, that's quasi private.

That's great and all to see these cars, but a part of me says that it is a shame as well.
It would be nice to see them being driven regularly the way that they were intended to be...

This reminds me of Ron Pratt, the former Barrett-Jackson buyer who bought only the best, and kept them in his secretive, private collection for his personal enjoyment. In his case, he shared much of his wealth with the charities that he publicly supported.

It's too bad that these cars (the best of the best), are being turned into museum pieces, and are not being driven or enjoyed.

Yeah, I am happy they are being preserved but the whole "secret society" thing or whatever it is is kind of silly to me. I could care less about it personally but it would be nice if some family could be able to take a trip to a classic car museum and light the fire in some little kid to get into the hobby. It's their money and I have no idea of their intentions but I hope they go public someday to share these pieces of art with the whole community and help inspire the future generations to save them.
