Could it be as easy as finding a LA intake and cutting the mounting "flanges" off.
If you Want to use it you will have to pay a refundable deposit to whoever the "keeper" is.

I’ll look into this tomorrow, does sound easy to make up. I’m assuming the water ends have to be drilled too. Maybe use the bottom edge of head as a guide. Back in 05 I had welded up a set of magnums to redrill, never got around to do it. I’ll pull them out too.
