I love watching the mopars in Adam 12 in the early years. There's one I have on my DVR with a street racing club. Lots of Mopars. Saw one where the guy had a stolen 69 Barracuda convertible . Ahh the good old days.

Street racing or stealing a 69 Barracuda convertible?

Emergency is fun for the same reason last week a 68 or 69 dart (too quick and far away) made a right hand turn in the back ground.

But this one broke my heart, it looked to have GT trim and then Captain said "let me un latch the top" I about cried. It was a 74 or 75 episode so the car was only 6 or 7 years old and probably a SoCal car. :(

Stealing......he didn't have keys to open the trunk as the ignition was popped!

On one Adam 12 in the second and third season it shows them zipping along in the 68 and then pulling up in the 69 lol...
Even though my truck is a 74 and my son's truck is a 76 we both have the 72-73 grills or as I like to say "the emergency grill"....

ChiPS was bad for wrecking cool cars, and not that old. They had a bunch of A100 vans and 70 Belvedere 4 doors painted all different clown colors, must have bought out a police auction.

they used a 66 coronet 500 convert in 2 episodes, then rolled it on freeway.

same deal about 10 years old

lots of 30 car pileups on freeway

I saw that not long ago. It was a 318 car with AC, I think.

Has anyone seen The Flim Flam Man with George C. Scott? They destroy a gorgeous brand new red Valiant convertible, a '66 I think.

Most all those cars were junked prior to the show being filmed. Fixed to look good.

If only you could go back and grab them after the shoot. LOL

I dated a girl for a time a loooooong time ago. Her dad worked for a company that bought junked cars and fixed them up for Hollywood movies or television shows. He told me that some cars were left as is with only their good side visible to the camera. Most others were cheaply repaired and painted as background cars. Some were put together for interior shots.
