As far as I can tell, this is correct. SSBC sells a caliper bracket that mounts calipers very similar to the KH four piston versions to drum brake spindles. The rotors look to be re-worked Mustang pieces. The pads may be the same as those which fit the KH calipers. The rotors are proprietary, and I believe the calipers are too. So, when SSBC goes out of business again, owners of their kits will again be stuck for replacement parts, again.
I called them a few months back to clarify some points. Their rebuild shop only works on SSBC products, and not OEM KH calipers. I asked if they would consider modifying Mustang rotors to work with Mopar A-Body KH brake systems. They weren't interested in discussing it.
