I’ve never been a fan of the 64-66 barracuda, I remember these cars growing up and thought they were butt ugly

Well if ya wanted to piss in these folks Cheerios you've certainly done it......

I fully agree with you, just wouldn't start a thread to tell everyone....

Ouch...never seen an ugly Mopar. Some are not high on my priority list of owning, but IMO the ugliest and most disrespectful to its heritage car out there is the new mid-engine "American sports car" :usflag:

Don’t mean ANY disrespect, but just look at that rear glass, almost looks like an after thought. I think they hit the nail on the head with the later fast backs

You gotta remember the era. They were learning how to curve glass, and the barracuda had one of the largest pieces of glass installed in a passenger car. I dig it, same with the first gen Chargers. Best looking generation? No, but they deserve their spot.

Yup, second gen Barracuda they knocked it outta the park...
Same as the first gen vs second gen Charger.... I wouldn't own a first gen... But I have owned three second gen Chargers & I'd love to have another...

Yes they are ugly, loveable ugly, they are just so cool. I’d own one in a second if I had any more room for projects. I don’t. Just like the first gen chargers, they grow on you. The illuminating gauges in the charger is way cool. But what do I know, I’m a notch guy. I’d take a hardtop over a fast back any day.

Ever drive one? One of the sweetest diving cars ever. They are also very aerodynamic, very stable at speed (100 mph plus). I would not trade my 66 for anything else. Of course "looks" don't mean much to me. What are you driving?

I compare the cool lines molded into the sideline to the generic crap designs today. They may not be my favorite but I really appreciate their style.

Normally this would be trolling really, in any given internet situation... If these people were'nt so forgiving, a Mopar net-cop would have escorted you out of here by now!

Looks like Cadillac is chasing Hyundai/KIA designs. I think this Korean duo is gonna be making waves very soon.

I like the looks of the early cars a lot. Just look what they were marketed against. The Falcon, Corvair and Chevy II.

Ooof that's going to start a flame war!

I am not a fan either but I can understand the attraction.

Here are 3 vans of the era. None are particularly attractive. I have my favorite and it's not the dodge. What's yours?
