Hi everybody:

As Simpson says from Hollywood Knights he's exactly right and I knew it would happen. I don't really care for driving this car around in the daytime and because of the work I do and the way I am I love driving it around at night. I've always been this way since I was a teenager. Backing up beside another trailer with a cammed up 340 and super 44s is just something a person loves to hear at 2-3am What do I do..Just go ahead until they call the cops on a 61 year old idiot ..I'll edit that. A 61 year old who is in his on private Idaho bubble and loves it.

Ok I give..It's still kind of ugly. Needs to be painted and the seats done. Matched. The guy who had the car before me took the front seats out drilled 8 holes in the floor and put the ugliest blue buckets in it he could find. I had some trouble with the engine at first but we put a mechanical secondary 750 Holey Brawler on it and it was like day and night compared to the other carb. Goes good now :)Going to paint it yellow and make a Swinger clone out of it. I really like this guys yellow one below. Not many 69 Darts around up here in Canada that are Yellow. Even bought a power bulger hood for it.
1970 340 in a 69 Dart
Anti pump-Up lifters
Ground and drilled rods
Speed pro forged pistons
ported 2.02 J heads
Comp Cam 488/491
750 Holley mechanical secondaries
Edelbrock Airgap intake
Doug’s Ceramic Headers
Super 44 Flow Masters
Exhaust 2 1/2"
727 with 2200 –2400 converter
8 3/4 Dif with 3.55 Eaton trutrac
HP haven't a clue...Maybe around 360-400 hp

Believe it or not I have a poster/flier of that movie from the Westbank Drive-in that me and my friend went to from 1980 in a frame.

Yeller is better and I'm not a yeller fan!!:poke:
That's funny. Same here but I want to make it a bit different and I think this one looks cool with the cragars and white stripe rather than black and the interior will be white too.

Really I like that combo even tho like said, I am not a great yeller fan. I love Cragers/old shool mags and love that body style!

Way back in the mid 90s I was at a big general swap in Ks. A bud had just done a 71 Duster slant 4 speed OD, frest Curious Yellow. Had it there fr sale. Great driver, needed nothing. $900. But that was Ks in 1995! Got 30 mpg too. Yes really!
Wife said one day, I saw you coming home in that and I bet you were 5 miles away! I said you can't see 5 mi for the hills, She said it was the reflection off that yeller!!! LOL
I sold it like all of them.. I would still see it all around NW Mo for many years! It got a 340.

Not nearly as loud as the Harleys that come screaming by my house every day. But, sounds really good! Daddy like!!

It's pretty light there at 2 am Richie.

The car sounds great, however, I would stick to the F6 green, but that's me!

i can imagine that smooth curve on the main drag just past your house would be great for a bike to get on it

That and it’s a straight shot up Maple Island both ways. Been nice this summer because they are rebuilding the bridge down by the river

I ride a Harley this time of year, and can't stand the ear splitting straight pipes some idiots run on theirs. Mine is plenty loud.

The problem with the F6 is the painter didn't prep the car right and six months after it was painted I started to see all of these little round dark sploches under the paint then it started to fisheye all over and to make this worse the painter turned out to be Mr. uber prick to deal with. Looked like he had his kid put several things back onto the car because the mirrors grille and other things all were stuck on with big round headed would screws lol. So when I see an F6 car I just run through all these beautiful memories. So I guess you could call it a mental problem why I don't want an F6 car.
