2022 13th Annual FABO NASCAR "Pick 'Em" Game - Time To Go Racing Again!!!

Where is 'Rowdy' driving in 2023?
Longtime sponsor M&Ms previously announced an end to their partnership with Kyle Busch and NASCAR following the close of the 2022 season.
On top of that, Kyle Busch's contract with JGR expires at the end of he year.
So, will he still be in the #18 in 2023 and who will be the sponsor?
Did he or is he going to retire from the truck series?

Did he or is he going to retire from the truck series?

The truck series is run out of Kyle Busch Motorsports and shows five different drivers in the truck series.
M&Ms is not shown anywhere on their "Partners" page as either Primary or Associate partners.

Sorry, I wasn't implying any owner, or sponsor connections, I just thought I heard during the last truck series race at whatever road course (Sonoma?) that he would retire if he won the race. He would have then got a victory for every year he raced in the truck series. He did win, so he's got a victory every season. That was his last truck race this season. That's where I was coming from.

Maybe he's ready to take up Shuffleboard.

They are looking for a sponsor for Busch, then they'll resign another contract with him. Just have to find a sponsor that will put up with his attitude.

Give me Ross Chastain for the pole as well.

Going to stick with the 12 car, and the 22 .

Congratulations to 'riverdawg' (FBBO) for sticking with his 'locked' pick of #11 Denny Hamlin to win the M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400 pole at Pocono and pick up -1 bonus point.

Busch and Hamlin DQ'd from race. LOL You can start the race with a car that passes tech and finish it with an illegal one regarding the front facia?

Talk about unleashing a can of worms. Inspector misses an illegal part in pre race, then miraculously sees it in post race. LMAO They just don't know how to kill credibility any worse than they have for the last 20 years. Sheesh.

Whatever it was was hidden under the wrap. Just a guess, it is in the ducting area as that is a huge deal on these cars and the limitations on placing tape on the nose.

I still don't buy the passing pre-race then getting tagged in post race where the tear down is more thorough. Fail it in pre-race if it's in an area of concern. Just more BS from a management organization that lacks any credibility to start with.

Both #11 Denny Hamlin and #18 Kyle Busch were disqualified following postrace inspection following the conclusion of the M&Ms Fan Appreciation 400 at Pocono Raceway. Issues with the front facia were found that affected the aero of their race cars. #9 Chase Elliott was declared the official race winner and #8 Tyler Reddick the race runner-up.

(07/25/22)NASCAR announced no appeal requested by either the #11 or #18 regarding the disqualifications following the race at Pocono yesterday.

Congratulations to 'Avispa' (FABO), 'Dart_Doctor' (FABO), 'fishmens67' (FABO), 'LocuMob' (FABO), 'ocdart' (FABO) and 'riverdawg' (FBBO) for picking #9 Chase Elliott. Each picked up
-5 bonus points.

Nobody picked the official race runner-up, #8 Tyler Reddick, so no runner-up bonus points awarded for this race.

'Avispa' (FABO) had the low net score honors this week at -5.0 points.

#5 Kyle Larson was the race leader at the end of Stage 1, #9 Chase Elliott was in second place.
Because of the disqualification of both the #11 and #18, #1 Ross Chastain was the official leader at the end of Stage 2 with #12 Ryan Blaney in second place at the end of Stage 2.

Please let me know if I show either your Pole or Race picks incorrectly or if you have any questions.

Please post your picks for the next race and let me know if you want to "lock" them in for future weeks. I will put an "L" before either your Pole pick or your race picks to show they've been "locked".
As always, you can always make different picks each week. Your "locked" picks will always be there should you forget to post your race picks, your computer malfunctions or the site should go down temporarily.

The Verizon 200 at the Brickyard on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course in Indianapolis, IN, is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, with the green flag scheduled for approximately 2:45PM EDT (11:45AM PDT).

Get your race picks posted before the green flag flies.
