69 Dart/Barracuda 340/383 tail pipe size?

so if the end of those pipes are 1 3/4 ID where they are swelled for the tips, I can only guess how small the actual tailpipe before the swell is - 1 5/8 or less???

The tips are 1-3/4 ID so the swell must be 2", I didn't measure that but I will when I get back to the shop in a couple of days...
