Has anyone had dealings with machine shop in Dallas Fort Worth area. Diamondback Engines out of Austin could not provided any referrals. Would especially be beneficial if machining experience included Mopar. If fixture is required, they may possibly have it. Have a simple issue to resolve and cannot find anyone willing to do it. Any suggestions and or contact information would be appreciated.

Machining is rooted in measuring.
If they can't do that...then what are they.
Think my issue requires fixture to support intake manifold that not everyone has. Just a guess based on responses from other shops that don't want to mess with it.

I have worked with these guys, they did an excellent job

Jawbone - Did you end up using either of these shops? I have a '67 Dart that has a 360 in it I need to get refreshed, and new to the Dallas area from Bastrop Texas. I need to find a good machine shop for that and my '55 Pilothouse. Both need engine work.

Did not use them. Found another shop. Am currently looking for their name. They do more on heads than blocks. Paid in cash and did not get receipt. Shaved my intake manifold perfectly. They rebuild aluminum heads after they have swallowed a valve. I will keep looking. They are in Mesquite, TX.

Try Bullets Racing Engines; Mesquite, TX 75149
I found a company out of Royse Texas that seems to have a decent amount of experience with small and big block Mopars. It is Republic Custom Engines. I'll drop off my motor next week for a rebuild, and let y'all know. When I spoke with the owner Mike on the phone, he seemed pretty knowledgeable. I'll let you know how it goes.

That will be a first for me to find someone in DFW area with Mopar experience. Please keep me up to date.
