1972 Dodge Colt

Had to make an emergency trip to Ohio for family business.
Back now and I have started back on getting ready.
Colt on jack-stands to check all the bolts and lines.
Just changed the distributor back to the Mallory, that Chrysler Electronic advance is acting up.
Ran the valves and checked the springs, rockers and head bolt torque.
Changed the oil and filter, no metal in the oil or filter.
Changed two Dzus on the hood that were too tight.
Going to change the rear shock valving and adjust front brake bias.
Going to lower rear slick pressure.
Need a set of driver pants and some heat wrap for the headers at the starter.
Planning on Xtreme next friday.
Oh yea, change out the trailer winch that quit on me, damn I hate a quitter.

I was able to meet up with my Hero in MO, Mr. Slant Racer himself.
I spent a little time with him and had a great time.
Here is his Lancer Video.

I also started on my next race head, later chamber drool tube.
Going with big valves and springs and mild port.
This will be my stroker 170 build.
This will be a 210 cubic inch engine.
Putting the Webers back together now.
