Opinions on 4 speed with OD

What do you think of the gear spread with the Passon OD gear set? Compared to a stock gear set?

I know someone that had one behind a 472 Hemi and didn't like the spread. His opinion.

Compared to a stock a833 there is not much difference between 1 and 2. Enough rpm cancels everything out.
In town driving (30 mph) I hover between second and third. Almost like another gear needs to be there, but I assume the camshaft had a part in that.
I do a big portion on the highway 55-60mph.

I don't have much seat time with the stock 4 speed gear set and never played with the stock OD gear set.
