I agree. The racers started using type F years ago for firmer shifts. Most street cars don't need firmer shifts and if you shift kit your Tflite it will have them with Dexron. My Swinger shifts firm with a little Kickdown adjustment and Dexron.

Nope but I will caution, MOST if not all 727/904 manuals produced these days focus on 1967 and newer. Very very very few address the push button trans days. So few in fact I was asked to write one

Yes but the push buttons need that thicker type F with their dual pumps and higher pressure requirements, at least with factory valve bodies

Some early PBs did. Not sure about the later ones

Its a beautiful evening here.went for a couple laps around town, all the geezers were out at their regular meeting place, the patio overlooking the town dock. A mini music festival going on tonight and through the weekend, a nice attraction for the town. Too many people for me though.
