I just bought a 72 demon, it needs wheels and tires. It’s a big bolt pattern in the rear and small in the front. What are you guys doing to make the front big bolt pattern?? Not happy with the selection of small bolt pattern wheels

Convert to 73+ brakes. Spindle & upper control arm swap, new rotors & calipers. I think thats it.

I bought a kit from Dr. Diff - loaded UCAs, spindles, rotors, bearings, loaded calipers, hoses. Everything you need. Brake parts are all later model - IIRC they are for the Volare/Aspen/Diplomat platform. If you go this route be sure to pay attention to the sheet that's included showing how to route the brake hoses.

x2 I would strongly recommend Dr. Diff. I spent years looking and collecting parts online and in junkyards and refurbishing everything myself to convert to '73 duster front disk brakes with a similar year power brake booster system and caliper mounts off a '77 or '78 monaco? (i think) to have large bolt pattern 11.75' brakes. When it was all said and done, I had spent within $100 of just buying Dr. Diffs full stage 2 conversion kit. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't even question going to him. For the record, my brakes are amazing but it kind of limits my wheel options because I can no longer run 14' wheels. I knew that going in but I just wanted to throw that out there in case you wanted smaller wheels then to just spring for the stage 1 kit.
He has great service and ships fast

awesome thanks, where could I find that Dr diff? Is there a website?

As stated, Dr Diff. I brainfarted earlier on just posting his name/link. And also adding bearings & hoses that Uncle Bob had added.

Scarebird makes a kit that will convert the front to BBP disc but retain the original spindles.
1965-72 Dodge, Plymouth "A" body, with 10" drums to 4-1/2 bolt pattern disc Wheel Kit

When I bought my SBP car it had adapters but the front wheels stuck out too far and beat up the fenders and looked goofy. I ended up converting to 73+ discs using junk yard parts. This is the cheaper option, but you'll have to source the calipers, caliper brackets, spindles, bearings, rotors, upper control arms, proportioning valve, and new master cylinder. If i had to do it again i would've just bought the scarebird kit.

Anyone use the bushing he sells to use the small bolt upper control arm ball joints with the later model spindle's?

65 Dart - using 73-76 A Body disc brakes

As an addendum to my post, i also have rear disc brakes using a bracket kit I sourced from @dodgedifferent2 and will be using 14 inch Magnum 500’s all the way around since they clear the rear calipers as well as the 73-76 A Body discs
