Summit ignition box

I have found there is little to zero benefit in feel of the pants improvement on a MSD or like system on the street/strip car. I make this statement against a Chrysler Chrome box ignition.

What the multi spark did do over the Chrysler box was just what MSD claimed it would do. And only these three things as observed from the drivers seat.
Easier start up. A most minor improvement.
More mileage. It was about 2 mpg on a stock 360.
More power was there on the low end with the multi spark boxes. It’s noticeable. Not a huge gain. Worthy though.
Once your last that 3K rpm area, you couldn’t find a difference worth shouting about. Was it there? I couldn’t tell. My butt dyno is t that super sensitive.

It’s been an easy decade and a half since I installed that Summit box. It was an easy install, nothing trick, weird or complicated.
