Any Alternate to replacing? Have a rotted shield on a 69 Barracuda. Not sure I want to risk snapping a rusty manifold bolt to just replace this.

They do serve a purpose but a lot of small blocks don't run them. A good set of wires and wire looms will keep the boots away from the manifolds.
