Stop in for a cup of coffee

Car back together.

New filter, gasket and fluid in the transmission.

Lifted the back end to run it through the gears. Didn't immediately come back but wasn't sure if it was the fluid getting circulated or not. Indications were the same. Unresponsive, then began to engage

Test drive. Acceleration was improved. Ran through the gears up and down easily.

Stopped at 3 miles... would not go into reverse... cycled the Park lever, put into Drive then Reverse. Drove back. Did 3 quick surges coming out of the parking lot but didn't do that again

Back at the house .. waiting for it to cool down and reevaluate.
Thank you all the the prayers and well wishes, I just got off my treadmill and put 1 and a half fast paced walk in, kitchen and bathroom is done for today, going to make a big pot of goulash, if I need to take special care of my wife for a few days I can eat it the next few days, 3 at the most.
I showed my two sons everything I have done to my 66 lady Victoria, and where all my mopar parts are filed away, I am so glad I have it wired up and running... I am blessed to have two strong and loving sons.
Ok, time to see if it's dry enough to mowe the lower area by the road (bottom of the hill)

You guys are great friends, thank you all for everything :thankyou:

Hey Mike. A. Great bunch in here for certain.

I'll get on the computer later up type up the day's report. A win on the carb rebuild...
Transmission is still a mess. It just has a new filter and fresh fluid. Same issue... only change is that it came around to being reactive faster but still nothing when it's cold. Frustrating

8 mile loop... 45 - 65 mph car ran up to like 205 degrees so there's a lot of work left to be done apparently.
