Yup I've been single AND alone (aside from my mom and younger brother but you know, not the same) this whole time. I met a girl (who is like borderline attractive to me) online who I intend to meet up with this weekend but she's been very clear she "only wants to be friends". Whatever, we'll see. Better than being totally alone I suppose.
Sorry for complaining about my personal problems here but my family isn't much help (although they definitely try) and my therapist told me "you clearly won't find happiness in the same ways as people around you."
