New Bullet!

Nice to see someone doing it what I would call the old school way. Thats got to make close to 600hp if not more in which case @3000lbs it could be 6.20's>30's and 10.0's in the 1/4 with a good hook but not with 4.88's unless you wanna turn 7800rpm in the traps with a 29" tyre. Video would be cool.

No machine work needed. The chambers are similar to a magnum chamber. We are looking to run in the 6's.

I'll get a video up when I can. Hopefully in the next couple weeks. Things are kinda slow goin at times.

Lol the carb spacer may have been just for the photo shoot lol. I'll talk with the carb builder before we run that thing. I've been hearing about guys running up to 400 on the bottle and lots of boost without pulling timing.
On boost or nitrous you still need to pull timing. But you should have no problem running that thing at full timing on e85. I’ll place my bet that you’ll end up around 32-33 degrees. The big boost LS I did in a buddies car, NA made best power at 29 degrees and at 30 psi we were at 21-22 degrees.

I follow Mark Sullens on Facebook. He's an advocate of not pulling timing but that's with his carb and tune. Horsepower Innovations built my carb for a previous build. I'll be giving them a call for the baseline tune. I have a FAST wideband to help with tuning also. I was kinda thinking we wouldn't be running a lot of timing as well.

You say you don't have friends near by that are in to hot rods, racing and stuff, where are you located sir ?

I'm in Lewis County, Washington. Most everyone is so busy lately with young families and whatever they are in to. I have three youngins myself. They keep from my shop quite a bit but I wouldn't have it any other way most days ya know.

If you don’t run 6.10-6.20’s there is an issue. I have way less engine and run 6.20’s.

Today was dyno day. 583.6hp@6700 and 496.8@5200 with the HP950. It's for sure gonna get a true 950 at least in the future. Made 592/487 on Sunoco 116. 474.2 average torque and 498.1 hp on gas. 482.7 and 505 on the corn. I think there's more in it. I'm pretty amateur to tuning an I think the e85 is still a new thing to the guys at the shop so we didn't push it. The day went pretty fast. I couldn't be happier. Clean, incident free pulls. Great day!

With 14:1 comp there should have been an increase over 116 imo. It has more than enough octane and a big gain in latent heat of vaporization. But you have to tune for it. I bet there’s more in it.
