It's only a 2 months now... getting close and going fast. We are excited to get on the track against the Hoosier Garage. Also, looking forward to meeting some fine folks as well.

Haven't heard from ya in a while. Doing ok I hope.... Still working to get the car ready for the NNN? Or not so probable ...?

I wonder if they'll let those that don't have enough subscribers "buy in" somehow? That would kinda suck to go all that way and not be able to compete.

Ok ... so after several threads and 328 posts on this one ( no I have not read all the posts) I have to ask ... what is the No Name Nationals ?

It is a youtube content creators event. It has bracket racing, a 275 tire shootout, grudge/call out class, monkey bike race, car show and burn out contest. It is happening at Jeffers Motorsports Park in Sikeston, Missouri on Sept. 30th-Oct. 1st. In order to compete you must have a youtube channel with a minimum of 500 subscribers by the day of the event. There will be camping at the event as well. The thing I like about it is the sense of community amongst the people involved in this event.
As with everything there have been a few instances of drama where certain people did not agree about the way it is being run but overall very little to impact the community feel.

And I'll add, anyone can attend to spectate. Anyone

Instead of just being about one group of people, (motortrend) it is about the people attending the event. There will be a ton of coverage from all the channels as well as there being people arriving from Australia, Canada and the west coast of the USA.
My trip is just under 1000 miles one way but I will not even be in the top 10 for distance traveled.
Dont get me wrong about the Mototrend guys I love thier shows and events. This is so much more about the little guys than who can throw how much $ at a project. You will see slow cars driven fast and fast cars driven faster.

I would say if you have less than 450 subs, I wouldn't go planning to race. IF you have 485 subs, you can pan handle at the gate and say "subscribe, get me in"... LOL If I know this community, you'd be able to race in 10 minutes

If you make a list of FABO members
Youtube channels I will suscribe to them . 318willrun I think I have already subscribed to yours .

Any of yall going and need subscribers, if I'm not already subscribed to your channel let me know and I will.

I'd be putting the Mopar on the back burner and building the Fords. :D
It is just an all around fun car. My wife even likes it better than the 65 Fairlane. Says you hit a speed bump and it rattles like its going to come apart but rides solid and more controled.
My Bro Doug would love that. He's a Die Hard FOMoCo cat. But always been there to help me slam a Mopar! He had a 70 Fairlane that was sick. Crashed it. Wonder he's alive. He has a brutal 66 Galaxy with a nasty 460 now. Gonna send him that video in the am

Would love to see 66. Sad about the 70 though, glad he's good though.
