Does anybody have opinion on this water pump?

[1] There is NO reason not to run a stat. It will give some temperature control, get the engine up to temp quicker. An engine that is at operating temp will use less fuel, perform better & last longer.
[2] If the pump has no bypass & a stat is used, the stat needs three 3/16" holes in it. Not mentioned so far is that the bypass also acts as a pressure release if the stat fails to open.
[3] Most important thing to check for pump efficiency is how close the spinning impeller blades are to the fixed housing. Hard to tell from pic, but looks close, & closer the better.
