Considering relocating to Texas

I do best when I work alone, all day, every day..always have/
But I learned to work with/along all kinds if people. Sometimes that is what a job/life demands. I respected the fact they came from different countries/cultures, whatever. Did all of em like me, or respect me, did some hate me?? Probably some of each. If someone felt they needed to kick my ***, (back in my younger days) I said, bring it on, it won't be the first time I had my *** kicked. I admit these guys were not white collar pencil pushers.
Point is, we all understand in life there are always unfairness directed toward people, just because: race, sex, religion, height, weight, IQ, wealth or lack of, you name it. Heck, there are even people that drive Chevies and hate us Mopar guys!!!!:realcrazy:
By the way, I have a Mopar bud that refuses to eat any left over. I asked his wife how she put up with that!!!!:BangHead:

I hear that. Things could be a lot worse, I never have people acting hateful or disrespectful towards me which I'm thankful for. People here are generally very kind, friendly, open, caring etc. It's just the long-term effects of being away from "my kind of people" that has slowly but steadily gotten me more depressed over the years. It's weird too when everyone around you at work, at the store, at the gym, looks the same, talks the same, have the same interests... it's just lame and boring. I appreciate your input in this thread btw it's all been very helpful.

Lol I love leftovers, some food is even better leftover like my mom's clam chowder, beef stew, chicken biryani... when those flavors have an extra day to soak into everything it's even more tasty. It's just when I have to eat the same thing 3+ days in a row it rapidly becomes not tasty to me anymore. But hey, it's food, keeping myself healthy and saving money is more important than my food being perfectly delicious every meal.
