Best RACK AND PINION set-up for Early A?

...Umm YEAH I have and still do, and it fkn SUCKS! I'm no spring chicken to "old" Mopar!

Precisely the main reason I want modern suspension technology in my currant build...

Sure hope you haven't bought into the "coil over and rack only" line that the GM crowd spits out all the time. An old Camaro absolutely needs a modern suspension, Mopars do not. The TB suspension can be upgraded to work well, my Duster drove just like my Challenger did even before I added PS.

I will concede that it makes headers easier, but it'd not an absolute need.

On the other hand, I have recently learned that if you want to run a TR6060 without swapping the input shaft and main plate and buying an aftermarket bellhousing and clutch, you need a coil over conversion front end. The passenger side starter on the Mopar TR6060 doesn't allow for steering the car with the stock steering.

Plenty of threads to read on the "discussion" of COC's vs. upgrade TB's so no need to go there. Only want to point out that sometimes people see the other guys being forced to swap and assume Mopars need the same. The reality is their suspension designs suck and result in more of a need for "modern" suspensions, while our suspension design is actually pretty good and just needs some updates to go along with the modern tires available now.
