440 motor mount location
I have the trans dapt 4698 brackets for 440 into SB K member.
I notched the drivers 'biscuit' to clear the oil pump as per instructions.
I kinda dry fitted everything wit a spare K member I have and engine on the stand.
The part I am confused about is the orientation of the biscuits vs how a small block is mounts. The small block have the biscuit up and down, but this has them side to side. Seems to me no matter tight those bolts are they cannot stay that way? I have never installed an engine in a mopar, and no experience with these mounts. Only ferds and chebbies
Anyway, any insight here would be great. A pic of a 383 or 440 mounts installed would be awesome.
