Yup and the bullshit spouted in this thread confirms that.

Anyone whose ever pulled beside a real 1970 LT1 Corvette or Camaro with a 4 speed and 4.11 gears will tell you if they're honest, they either lost to it, or it took every stinkin thing they had to beat it.

Now watch all the storytellers jump at the chance to tell me how many they outran. The LT1 I'm talking about was 370HP and 380LBFT and they were hardly over rated. That's more bullshit from somebody that probably barely beat a 300HP powerglide Camaro because they couldn't drive. Chevy and all the rest built some badass stuff too, it wasn't just Mopar. I still love Mopar best, but the fact is they FAR from won every race, and they were FAR from the fastest cars there, either.
