More barns there for sure!
I've heard about the old barnes in Missouri, we took a trip a few years ago towards st.joesph mo and what barnes we found had tractors in them. I think that the mopars that are in Missouri probably were bought outside of Missouri most of the mopars I've seen in Missouri were basket cases.

I found another USA place with way better deals on door panels, AND it's Not a year wait! I got my carpet from some Southern boys too. All USA , and a
sweet Product and
price
Yeah, where's that?
I want to put a red carpet in my dart

I got my carpet from an upholstery place. Perfect. Even has the seam over the hump. Cost $400 installed in Cali. They took the seats out, tore out the old ****, cleaned out all the rat nests,(apparently my car sat for years and was a home to a few critters), soundproofed it and put all the new stuff in. That’s one good deal I’ve had restoring my car!

Rampage bro

With that little Mitsubishi 2.2, and a decade late. Don't get me wrong, one with a little 318 or 360 would be pretty sweet. Oh, and rear wheel drive, or even better, 4wd. That would be a pretty sweet project.

Google new dodge rampage, that was a really cool concept car/truck. Too bad they never made it.

And while I'm dreaming, I'd love to be 20 again lol.

Lol, yeah 20 again me too.
Id love to make a little red wagon out of a rampage or even put the twin turbo stealth power train with the awd & aws. Just 600 or 700 hp to go get ice cream

But yours is hand made so cool

That fella that owned R&R in Aurora cleaned out most of the barns in this state.

I lived in Missouri from 79 till 2016. I lived in NW Mo. and SW Mo. 30 miles from R and R.. Ron Slobe (RIP). There were tons of restored and project Mopars there. Still are. But as time moves on, fewer good projects, like most anywhere. Good restored cars keep getting higher. But today I see not as many cars selling. All depends on where you are.

I was closer than you. I was in Mt. Vernon! I never got to meet Ron. I have a couple pictures from R&R right before it closed. It was definitely picked clean!

Ron started R & R with his brother (I assume a silent partner). Ron was a true Mopar enthusiast, collector, but he was in the Mopar parts business. For those that have not heard the story of R &R, it was probably the largest Mopar yard of its time. He had a huge pole building with his collection, his goal to have 1 of every hemi and six pack car, all transmission types, hardtop, post, vert. Many of the cars were rollers but all real. He still lacked a few examples.
Ron flew a small plane all over Ok.,Ar, S, Mo. looking for salvage yards, fence rows, for Mopar. He would find them and haul them home. He had plenty of "locals" bring him parts cars or even good builders. They could get pissed when they came back later needing a part and Ron quoted them the " retail national" price! Was what it was. I sold him plenty of parts and he always paid a fair price to me.
Ron fought cancer for several years and it finally took him. The yard ran for several years after his death, eventually everything being sold and what parts cars were left no one would buy, crushed.
The last time I was there a couple decades ago, I looked thru probably 100 second gen. Chargers for a pair of horns!!!!! NONE!
Ron was just a guy that loved the old Mopars and loved the Mopar parts salvage business.
I am sure there is a lot that could be added.

When I was there, all the 68-70 chargers were pulled out and set out front. I saw them on trucks heading west shortly after. A year or so later that Dukes of Hazzard movie came out.

And the was NOTHING left on those cars.
There was a dumpster full of 8 3/4 housings with the ends torched off.

Myself, I don't like those Dukes of Hazzard copy cars, I wouldn't ruin the value of my car for that, I think it's silly
