Car has been apart too many years, 69 Dart, these were in the parts boxes I have for it.
It already has the ground wire from the firewall to the engine block and it does not look anything like these two.

Thanks for any input!

This is the firewall to block ground on my car, It's not a braided ground, it insulated. Both Darts have the insulated firewall ground. Are there more than 1 firewall grounds?

Thanks for the replies all!

Braided were original, the insulated I believe are "aftermarket". BUT they could be better. Only 1 fw ground that I know of, BUT the more the merrier...like naughty girls...

Left wire. Looks like parking light ground. 1 on each side.
Pic shows Drivers side with grill removed.

Your car needs a ground from steering column to dash frame to ground T/S switch.
TS switch does not need a ground per se, but the column does anyway, for the shift quadrant if used and the horn button.

My '71 has a ground that goes from the blower motor stud to the wiper motor stud? It's insulated.

It is weird, out of 3 1969 Darts I have, 2 have the insulated ground wire "that look exactly the same" & the 3rd has the braided. The wires in the picture here I believe are from another 69 I parted out years ago that obviously must have had the braided. I wonder if just one is correct or MA MOPAR used what they had at that time in stock?
