Stop in for a cup of coffee

So as some may recall, I’ve gotten bitten by a new project. I bought myself a portable lumber mill. It came in yesterday. I put it together last night and tried it out on a piece of cottonwood. It is slow going, about 8-10 minutes per 1x16x8ft. But being how I have a TON Of white ash , I’m going to make me enough boards to do a board and batten garage. I’ll still purchase the professionally made trusses and treated 8x8s, but I’ll save about 19,000 dollars in lumber and steel siding costs.
Check with a local outdoor power product dealer, you need ripping chain. I dont recall the difference but i sold a few in the past. May have to do with the angle they are sharpeened. And rakers may need to be taken down a little.
