My wife and I just watched "Frozen Dead. It is a 1967 Dana Andrews movie. The short explanation is that a mad scientist who was a Nazi in WWII uses the head and brain of a girl his assistant murdered to help thaw out Nazis who were frozen at the end of the war.
The official summary (below) might make the movie sound not too bad, but it was a real groaner. We kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did:
Dr. Rupert Norberg (Dana Andrews), a leading medical researcher for the Nazis, has been secretly at work in England for 20 years, learning how to reanimate a flash frozen Nazi force. He has been supported in this work with funds to cover the "castle" in which he works as well as care for his niece, Jean (Anna Palk), whose father is one of the dozen "stiffs" in his locker. He can restore the physical bodies of the soldiers but has yet to get their brains reactivated. His assistant, Carl Essen (Alan Tilvern), prematurely tells a former general (Karel Stepanek) that their goal is in sight. The general's appearance forces the assistant to push things further. Knowing that Norberg needs to study a live brain, Essen kills Elsa Tenney (Kathleen Breck), the girlfriend that Jean, has brought home for the school holidays. Then he prompts Norberg to keep the head alive for study. At the same time, Dr. Ted Roberts (Philip Gilbert) arrives from the U.S. to assist Norberg in his research. His own work has been able to keep a dog's head alive in the laboratory. Elsa's head starts sending premonitions out that Jean picks up on. Although originally sworn to secrecy, Ted falls in love with Jean and switches his allegiance to help Jean stay alive and get to Elsa.

Why would you waste your time watching something so far out there that it's not funny?

I don't know about that movie, but Dana Andrews -- remember Hot Rods to Hell?

Hot Rods to Hell goes WAY back. I'm pretty sure it was in black and white. I don't think the hoodlums were driving Mopars.

Better or worse than "Plan 9"?

I actually liked Plan 9 before it got voted the "worst movie ever".

There are some movies that no matter how hot the women are, they can't overcome horseshit acting and no plot.

That tire movie “rubber”? That RRR posted a few weeks back was pretty terrible lol

The only sci-fi fiction I can watch is the BS that comes from DC FBI, AG, etc. DISCLAIMER: This statement has nothing to do with politics, but bad movies!!!!!!
I saw a move other nite, where the guys kid bought a Ford. He was made fun of, laughed at, spit on, threatened to have his butt kicked......... and that was before the kid left the house to go to school!
Or was it a Chevy, I forget.

Lots of terrible out there in movieland. Some that are "cult classics"...

And, for every terrible there is a following...

Great movie when I was a kid.
Crap now. I couldn't last past the first 5 minutes.

Dan, sometimes movies like that are so bad they are worth watching at least once. Sometimes it is just as much fun to groan at a dumb Sci Fi flick as to watch a decent movie. That being said, I won't watch a truly bad movie. For instance, I have walked out on very few movies because they were BAD. Personally, I think that Close Encounters movie was the worst one I've ever seen.

Great movie. The punks were driving a 57 (I think) Vette.

If you really like "good" "bad" movies like Kitty and I do, you need to see this. lol

The Thing with Two Heads (1972) - IMDb
Seen it. It was up there with "The Frozen Dead". If you get a chance to watch it, let me know if you liked it.

Most awful one for me is the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show‘, ‘Grease’ is close behind
