Hydraulic lifter preload
Hey guys
I got the drivers side valve cover off, I'm going to start with doing one bank at a time using the EOIC method, one question I have is when I release the adjuster screw should I wait a few minutes for the lifter to come back to its highest point ?( if that makes sense)
I noticed when I losend the first EX adjuster screw I had play in Push rod then I came back into garage a few minutes later and it was tight again.. so my thinking is that the lifter plunger came back to TDC.
Sorry for my ignorance.. I've been out of the game for 5 years or so..
