I cannot seem to find an exact fit radio for my 74 Dart Swinger. The 2 below are the closest I can find. I sent and email to Retro asking if either will fit but no response yet. Does anyone have experience with fitting in an original style radio with FM/USB/Bluetooth in a 74?

I don't believe you will find one. All of them I've seen require the dash to be cut. Good luck in your search.

Personally with how cheap bluetooth amps have gotten these days it's much easier to just get one of those and wire it to the factory speakers (or aftermarket). Completely hidden, connects to your phone when it turns on and you can control it from your phone or from a remote. Leave the factory stereo there.

Something like this, $37

If I didn't want navigation, that's what I would have done. Instead I ran my navigation screen below the underdash A/C and left the factory AM radio in situ. No cuts, no mods, all reversible.

This is what I put in my 64 Valiant. I also have another to put in my 75 Ford truck. You have to cut the dash for a single din, but I love the thing. It's nice.
USA-4 DIN Radio

I think that Retro radio fits your car. Make contact with them to check, but it appears to be a two post radio. In that build Hemi Denny did for Butch Leal, he installed a Retro radio and it looked great

As mentioned above search Amazon for Bluetooth amplifier. Dirt cheap if you want to play music through your phone. Just hook it up to power, your speakers & turn the volume all the way up. Hide it and control it from your phone.

Yea just checked the thread. It's from California Flash. He installed the cheap Redondo and said it sounded great!

That’s pretty slick. Do you have experience with the one in the link or can you recommend a specific model?

Honestly with the Chinese no-name stuff on Amazon it's a crapshoot. They're all made in contract factories and then sold to a vendor who slaps a brand name on them. I had good luck with a Lepai brand, but your best bet is to not bury it too deep and make it easy to replace. You'll either get 10 seconds or 10 years out of most of them.

What is this Bluetooth thing I keep hearing about? How does it connect to your radio and your car?

Bluetooth is often used to connect your smart phone to other devices like earphones, headsets & external speakers. If you buy a Bluetooth amplifier, you can hook it to your car speakers & play music from your phone.

I've never used a "smart phone"

If you don’t have a smart phone, then Bluetooth probably won’t be useful to you. Not having a smartphone will also keep you from wasting a lot of time……
