What are you guys running on your 6.1 intake setup for a throttle cable and how?

That's because when you post multiple threads on the same subject within five or six minutes, it's very annoying. People will go out of their way not to answer. Disagree with every post all you want, I am simply telling you the truth.

I already comprehend that…. Do you think if i had known that i posted multiples that i wouldn’t have deleted them? Thanks for assuming my intelligence level.. and even if that’s the case of what others will assume and not help me… they don’t have to be a karen and reply anything. But, you did point out the fact before I noticed it, so thank you lol

I'm not assuming anything. I was simply letting you know that multiple posts about the same thing in a real short period might not be the best thing to get responses....and yet, here you are already insulting possible responding members calling them "karens". It's you who have assumed way too much, not I. We have some great members here who would be more than willing to help if you would drop the attitude. I wish you luck in your search for an answer.
 
Have you given Bouchillon Performance a try? They have lots of specialty cables.

Thanks for the suggestion again. They have a kit with a bracket and cut to length cable. After this one I can just make them. Nice to have a template
 
I am running a typical 92mm LS style throttle body with an LS throttle cable bracket and an adapter plate. The adapter bracket needed some slight shaving to make it all fit - not the prettiest or most "trick" set-up but was extremely affordable

Where did you get yours? Is it braided sleeve? This one from Bouchillon is crap. Hard plastic made for driver side throttle pull, gives no room to insert into firewall, plastic nipple on throttle cable side is too long. 150 down the toilet

Mine is also black hard plastic - there are universal ones available from Lokar and even cheap versions on Ebay that are braided

Yeah. Lesson learned. Start with something cheaper and see if it works instead of working backwards. Can always buy the other on in the end, and again, I should have looked more carefully too
 
Ok, like you I searched everywhere I could for a graceful solution but as it goes for most aspects of the swap there is no real support yet, like the LS boys, so you end up fabricating yourself for the parts you need. I made these from a LS kit. Feel free to PM me if you need any other ideas for solving stuff. There is a bunch!

Looking for throttle cable bracket ideas, I came across this one.
This or something similar is what we will be running on our 6.1 with BBK throttle body.
The cable runs under the intake manifold.
I may have a couple other pics. I'll see if I can find and post them.

Here is another version.
These work with the BBK throttle body. Not the LS style.
Same idea mounted to a different location and a simpler execution.

Yes, this one happens to be a LHD car, thanks to one of our friends down under.
I really like the simplicity of this mounting location and the minimal fabrication.
