Kudos to 331MP. Love to see members offering help, parts for others. That's what makes this site 2nd to none in the car world.

While i would prefer a DP in your situation, i'm guessing that if your HP is running well, you may just be tinkering around the margins with a DP carb for now. Meaning i'm not sure the cost/benefit of a new one is warranted.


I’ve spent over 6 months tuning this carb and curving the The distributor at the track and on the street , I think I have it as dialed in as ot could be. And you’re probably right it’s probably pretty close to what a double pumper might do on my application.
