400hp and a lock up transmission ?
Hi guys changing my 727 soon for a stock one with hduty parts , we will see but im pretty sure im gonna hate it ( had a 727 with a 2900 stall and s-kit ) i went crazy this summer and bought 4x 904 trans and 4-5 set ups of kickdowns ( oem + lokar ) my question is that 3 of my 4 904s are lock ups and my last one looks like a a999 if i compare the stamping numbers ( 80s vans ) can a 380hp crate engine kill this trans ? My duster is a street driven car and i heard with time that a 904 can hold up a 360 without a problem and its a lot lighter , 727s are getting very hard to find in my area ( montreal canada ) worth to rebuild a 904 for the next season or ?
