Body in white Challenger?

-
No more info, but expect parts demand to skyrocket at that price. Every wrecked Challenger in the hood is going to get a refresh and probably end up back on the street.

I was giving serious thought to selling my Scat Pack but I believe I will hold my position for a year or two and see how stupid the market gets.
I don’t mean a good idea on selling your Scat Pack, I was agreeing how Dodge wants to sell shells of new Challengers.
Keep your Scat Pack.

Even as a drag racer, I never understood the modern body in white programs, be in gm, ford, Chrysler. Opposed to a shell that was missing half the body panels, a running driving 6 cyl challenger, or even a 5.7 car that was tapped on the nose, could be had for the same, or less $....and you'd have a title ta boot.....and glass....and seats....and carpet, yada yada

Maybe if they were 3k, but at 8k...yikes

You missed the key words of the body in white program.
“Drag Racer” who will not need any interior you mentioned from the factory if much of anything at all.
No need for heavy fenders and other parts. What you don’t need is removed.

8K for a body in white is an excellent deal for the serious racer.

Guess I'm just a spirited amateur. lol

They got one at the Dodge display for the Woodward Cruise in Michigan. Exactly as expected and as shown in their pictures.
