Everyone, meet Theresa

The header panel looks right for a 68 to me. .....but I don't know that much about them either so......

Here 67 and 68 noses. Notice hoods flat.

1969 front header has the bump like this pic.

Yes, sill moldings were available in two types for '68. The ever popular Custom Sill Moldings AKA "gills and spears" and the "regular" style.
Below are two pics I took of my brochure that show the regular type. It looks to me that these could be the style Theresa is wearing.

It’s a shame about your recent girlfriend. I’m sure she was nice…. ;)

Beauty car. I’m sure Theresa won’t hold a grudge.

Good to know that it appears to have the correct header. @1969cuda I know it's hard to tell from just a few pictures online, that's why I thought I'd post some other angles.

Yeah. And ask your girlfriend what model year SHE is, then tell her that SHE is old. HA!
Hahaha I might be crazy, but I'm not suicidal!!

I thought I'd set the record straight and tell you all that she didn't say Theresa was "ugly" per se, she's just not into that body style. She adores the color and adores the fact that I enjoy these cars so much, and that's good by me. I'm lucky to have a good woman who can see past this rough mug of mine....

Did some digging through the documentation that came with the car, and it looks like he did quite a bit of work to it. Haven't found a build sheet yet and the fender tag is long gone. Is there a way to find out the build options by using the VIN?

Not really. The Vin will tell you body type and trim grade, year, engine, and assembly plant, and an approximate time of assembly. That's about it....
Keep hunting the broadcast sheet. Most often under or behind the rear seat, depending on assy plant. There are other places. A search here will give other spots found.

That car would get great fuel mileage on a trip to Fall Fling in Van Nuys!

That’s one of the reasons I’m considering keeping the slant. Reliability, mileage, and why not be different?

A few shots of the interior. I’m not crazy about that speaker grill in the back…

I drove Theresa to work today and parked her in the bay out of the sun, so I could do a little detailing. One of the younger guys was checking out the interior and asked if I had two brake pedals.

He had never seen a manual column shift car before.

I'd drive that bad boy like it is .............until I gathered all the parts for a V8/ 4 speed/ rear axle swap !!!
