Putting together a 340 with a/c and power steering. From looking at some past threads, I believe I have a mismatch of the wrong pulleys. I have a 2-grove alt., a 2-grove crank, and a alum. water pump 1-grove pulley that maybe non-a/c. I think I need a 3-grove crank pulley because of a/c and power steering and the proper a/c water pump pulley. Just looking for confirmation from someone before I post a (WANTED) thread. Here's some photos... THANKS

You are correct, I have the stock same set up on my '72 Dart, but mine is factory, looks like you will be going aftermarket.

Welcome to the world of putting our mopars together.

Getting all the pulleys lined up and the proper diameters always takes some doing weather it's small block or big block.

Trying to make it stock, just rebuilt the compressor, located the factory hoses, hard lines , new dryer and restored the a/c box under the dash. I started with nothing in the engine compartment. So I assume I will need a 3 belt setup?

You want the set up from the same year AC car with a 318. The fan pulley you have is from a non-AC car. The AC and Alternator run off a pair of belts and the Fan and the Power steering run together off a single belt. The crank pulley has 3 grooves and one is a different diameter than the pair. The Fan pulley is short and smaller in diameter than the non-AC one you have (spins the pump faster). I'll take pictures and send them

You didn't mention what year car you were working on. Here are pictures from 2 1970 Darts - blue motor with AC, orange motor without AC. AC set ups have twin belts closest to the motor that run AC and alternator. The belt for Fan and Power Steering is closest to the radiator. This is as opposed to non-AC cars where the power steering has its own belt closest to the radiator. The fan and alternator run off a single belt closest to the engine - that is why the non-AC fan pulley is deeper to line up with single groove alternator. AC fan pulley lines up with the Power steering. If you look at the crank pulley picture you can see there are paired grooves for AC/alt, and a slightly smaller and separate groove for Fan/PS. The dirty pulleys are extras I have for AC. PM if you need them.
