Coronado, CA 92118. I met my wife there when I was going to a school in the Navy. She grew up there. We lived there for almost 9 years together. Wife still works on the island and I still occasionally run the 6 mile circumference of the island.

Stationed at the Amphib base in 78-79, the walking trail didn't exist back then... But I did enjoy my time there & like to visit the island when I can...

I went to a fire near Placerville one time and passed it. Just looked at a map and Sutter's Creek isn't too far away. John Sutter was the guy who basically started the Gold Rush.

Rocky Mountain National park. Dream Lake to be specific. That picture was taken on my honeymoon after a very dangerous hike on an ice covered path. There was literally blood smears on the trail from people going down. Here it is the same week back in 2015. If you are ever in the park and it’s a nice day I would say it’s the one hike I recommend to everyone.
