Remember when we had no fear with our toys?

Dam I had a home made mini bike a Brigs 1.5 motor bolted on a stingray with a fanbelt to the rear with a washing machine pully jury rigged to it. Man I did miles on that thing.
My mini was home made too. Used galvanized 1/2" water pipe lol. Had access to a torch and was learning how to arc weld back then and really didn't know about the fumes from that stuff but heard not to breathe it. Had a 'suicide' clutch using a fan belt too. The wheels and tires came off of my wrecked go-cart. My welding wasn't too good and the bicycle neck front end didn't stay on too long lol. Luckily it messed up slowly and was able to come to a stop (no brakes either) without crashing. Did a much better job welding it back on. And the bike was much easier to 'avoid' the cops than the go-cart was!
