Small Block Head Flow Chart

Well everyone on the internet told me my W5s were junk and would blow head gaskets under any amount of boost. They also told me my stock block would break in two after 600 hp. They also said a torqueflite would explode if you put a thousand horse to it and on and on. Well I have debunked all those internet opinions with my very own testing in the real world. I do know that when Brett speaks you listen. With all that said I am probably going to go with the W9 and get the extra head bolts, even though I have yet to blow a head gasket.

Brett also was involved heavily in the original Bloomer heads that ended up being a bust. Again, these MC heads have been around even before Indy started offering small block heads. Forever.
There is a reason hardly nobody uses them in Mopar drag racing. My guess is that is because they are expensive and underperforming, compared to other offerings now out there.
