Getting rid of it can be a challenge. I recommend a single exhaust all the way past the body-line, a long 3-pass muffler, and a turn-down under the rear bumper, but soften the slash so you don't cut yourself as you walk by.
But since you already have 90% of a system, just install a tailpipe out to the bumper.
I heard this slanty dual exhaust system once, like a T/A with side exits, in the which, 3 cylinders fired out each side; whacky! I sorta liked it.
