Holley 1920 VS Carter BBS

Hello all,
This all sounds soo familiar. I bought a Holley 1920 from Rock Auto last July, installed it, ran awesome, no adjustments needed and fired right up, ideled, etc for about 2-3 weeks then the front bowel started leaking. I did the normal fixes but still leaks. Then...... the idle got weird. I could not keep her idleing aside from full throttle. My local garage looks it over, said it was toast so I've reluctantly built another 1920 from Rock Auto to get me at least mobile and I plan to have a carb expert I know rebuild my other one. I also plan to use nothing but ethanol free gas.
Say I was ever to swap my 1920 for a Carter, which Carter is the easiest to swap with not having to adjust my current fuel lines (which are made for the 1920 side fuel inlet)? The Ball and Ball or BBS and or does it make a difference?
And- oh- where to get it?

Thanks
Frank
