Lessons to be learned about shipping USPS
Not really since I had to pay 15.00 more.
The seller printed the label that market place provided. Slapped it on the wrong type of box, triangular shaped and dropped it off.
I'm sure if he had gone into the PO and bought the postage the outcome would be different.
I ran through the USPS Click and ship website. There are 2 check boxes when not using flat rate, one is any dimension longer than 12"
The other is "this package isn't a standard, rectangular box"
The price for the rectangular box is 12.65
The not rectangular is 27.65
15.00 sercharge for not being rectangular!
Same weight, same length, same width, same height just different box shape.
If the shopping in the listing was 25.00 I may not have bought the part.
