Did not realize they were that old, but now I'm pretty sure how to read those numbers on the sidewall to get the MFG. date. Price just went down to $200 for the pair. The Dakota in my avatar is what they came off of, was hardly driven, (truck is original w/50,000 miles on it) & kept in a temp controlled garage.
