If it's an aluminum case that's probably not good...
There's really no difference in strength except for probably the overdrive gear. Which you would never see in a drag race. Your biggest fall back would be the long split in gears which may or may not help....
Anyways if it was me I'd buy the parts and assemble it myself... It's not like they're going to give you a warranty for your intended purpose...
