Any value in 198’s?

There is a issue with the Molner/K1 rods that I seldom see addressed. The aftermarket rods have floating pins. Not a problem if you are using the dished 2.2 turbo piston, which uses a floating pin. The flat top non turbo 2.2 pistons require pressed pins, and won't work with the aftermarket rods. You need the stock 198 rods.
Charlie, the built slant six in my 68 Barracuda has flat top 1 mm OS KB 2.2 L pistons and Molinar rods with floating pins all on a cast crank. I bought the rods when they were first released, it is my understanding that the Molinar cast crank rods have been discontinued, but these work with the floating piston pins that came with the flat top pistons.
