When you pull the engine out as much as I do it doesn’t get that bad. Whenever my car is “done” I might actually use some of the forbidden Mountain Dew
In your climate you don't need 50/50 either. 25/75?
Probably could get away with water wetter type and a water pump lube/anti-rust if you don't see anything lower than very high 20's. The additive lowers the freezing point depression some.
Water is better than Anti-Freeze for removing heat from an engine.
